• Required License/Certs: Board Certified in Pediatrics (or eligible), Board Eligible/Certified in Neonatology
• Experience: Preference for prior NICU experience, but not mandatory for eligible candidates

What You’ll Do:

• Provide comprehensive neonatal care in a Level III NICU with 34 beds across a wide acuity spectrum
• Collaborate with pediatric specialists, neonatal nurse practitioners, and multidisciplinary teams
• Conduct daily patient rounds, develop care plans, and oversee NICU cases
• Support approximately 1,500-2,000 deliveries annually and manage both in-house and transport cases
• Deliver evidence-based care aligned with quality improvement initiatives
• Contribute to clinical excellence and neonatal care advancements in a supportive environment
• Support nursery rounds and engage in patient family education and support

What You Need:

• Medical license to practice in Louisiana or eligible for licensure
• Board Certified in Pediatrics or eligible/board certified in Neonatology
• Strong clinical skills in neonatal intensive care and patient management
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
• Residency within the immediate local area preferred; relocation may be required
