About the Position

Locums Pediatric Hospitalist Physician in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania - Seven Shifts Monthly, No Call

Build a part-time monthly schedule around pediatric hospital medicine with both day and night options and extensive pediatric subspecialty resources onsite.

Practice & Cases

• Inpatient pediatric hospital medicine and emergency department consultations
• Asthma, seizures, gastroenteritis, pneumonia, and other general pediatric cases
• Night coverage includes general pediatrics and newborn nursery care
• Neonatology, PICU, pediatric anesthesia, GI, endocrinology, neurology, surgery, ENT, and cardiology available onsite

Schedule

• 12 hour shifts
• Approximately seven shifts per month
• Day and overnight coverage available
• Strongest coverage need is for overnight shifts

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years in Pediatric Hospital Medicine
• Pennsylvania license or active IMLC LOQ required
• BLS and PALS required
