Job Summary
We are seeking a Drum Teacher  to join our team! As the Drum Teacher, you will allow students to pick music in their favorite genres, and assign music  best suited to them. You will also supervise all rehearsals within the confines of Academy hours, maintain musical equipment, and attend staff meetings. The ideal candidate will have experience working with and teaching students, excellent leadership skills, and a knack for developing young talent. 

Responsibilities 

• Choose activities, lessons, and musical performances based on the skillset of available students
• Hold auditions for each activity, and assign parts as necessary
• Schedule and supervise rehearsals within the appropriate Academy hours
• Properly assess the skills of each student under your care, and work with each student to develop their individual skills
• Stay up to date with trends in both teaching and the music industry
• Attend staff meetings

Qualifications

• Previous experience teaching music preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent leadership and time management skills
• The ability to make decisions under pressure
